Reidmark announced as finalists in the 2006 CIH Awards
Reidmark, in conjunction with its development partner Broadland Housing Association entered the Chartered Institute of Housing’s (CIH) tenth awards programme with its forward thinking RSLmanager ebusiness system, earlier this year...
Reidmark’s Managing Director Mark Carney comments: “2006 is turning out to be an excellent year. We have already been selected as a finalist in the prestigious British Computer Society Awards with our IAGmanager system. And now, to be shortlisted with RSLmanager by the CIH - the professional body for the housing sector is a significant achievement for both Reidmark and Broadland Housing Association.”
In a nutshell, RSLmanager is the social housing sector’s first fully integrated internet based housing management system and the ultimate customer relationship management tool. The system joins together all of the people and processes that make up a housing association, within a single system environment – which creates an incredibly powerful platform to work from. Since the system was launched in April 2004, this simple, yet novel approach has empowered Broadland Housing to significantly enhance the level of service offered to its customers. This has led to major service improvements and resulting efficiency gains across all business areas, in addition to other benefits, including a reduction in operational costs.
Michael Newey, Chief Executive at Broadland Housing Association adds: “As housing associations face continued pressure to drive forward efficiency whilst operating within financial constraints, business intelligence has never been more crucial. Working with Reidmark has enabled us to revolutionise the association’s approach to IT management – and hopefully challenge the rest of the sector’s views on the role of IT within the social housing industry. “
Mark concludes: “Being shortlisted as a finalist by the CIH not only demonstrates the importance of e-technology within public sector organisations, but also shows the positive effects of partnership working and the extent of what can be achieved by two very different organisations who share a common goal.”
The winners of the CIH tenth UK Housing Awards 2006 will be announced on the 9th November at a glitzy awards ceremony taking place at the Hilton Hotel in London.
