RSLMANAGER - A FULLY INTEGRATED SYSTEM

RSLmanager was built following a thorough and rigorous analysis of a social housing organisation's key operational activities.  By joining together people and processes via a web-based system environment RSLmanager supports the concept of workflow and customer relationship management.

RSLmanager is made up of a number of key areas, or ‘modules’ - the customer module, the business module, the estates/portfolio module, the finance module, the accounts module, the suppliers module / contractors portal, the whiteboard and my job and the board members' area.  In simple terms these modules are data centres that interact with one another and basically enable core processes that take place within a housing association to join together. 

Customer Module

At the very heart of RSLmanager and underpinning its Customer Relationship Management (CRM) capabilities, is the customer module.  Many of a Housing Association’s processes are driven from the customer module – which incorporates a sophisticated electronic document management facility.  It is user friendly so that centrally stored information can be readily  retrieved and relveant tasks within this area carried out with ease and speed. 

 Business Module

The business module is RSLmanager's control centre.  It is used to aid and accelerate strategic planning, resource management and performance monitoring.

Finance Module

The accounts module integrates with all other RSLmanager system processes to provide a unique accounting and financial management solution, which can be controlled from the one area, by authorised users. It features tools that enable you to manage rental income, the sales ledger, the purchase ledger, petty cash, staff expenses and financial reporting.

Portfolio/Estates Module

Governed by property statuses, RSLmanager manages the transition of handover completion of new properties, takes properties under major void repair out of management and sets those under termination into a pending status so you can pro-actively manage new lets and re-lets. Information managed here ‘flows’ to other parts of the system for a fully integrated and seamless approach to monitoring customers, properties and tenancies.

Supplier Module / Contractors’ Portal

The successful introduction of a real time Contractor portal has proved to be one of the most talked about innovations within the UK housing sector. Customer requirements are driven from call centres or online portals, directly to the required contractor.
