Broadland Housing Group
Broadland Housing Group was formed in 1963 by a group of local business people who were committed to providing more affordable housing in Norwich.
The Group provides over 4,000 homes throughout Norfolk and Suffolk. It continues to provide a range of different homes including family homes, modern apartments, sheltered housing and housing with care.
Reidmark and BHG
Chief Executive, Michael Newey joined the company in May 2003 and at the time of joining, the IT infrastructure was somewhat chaotic with a diverse mixture of hardware, operating systems and applications so his first objective was to simplify and consolidate the IT systems whilst meeting both the company’s needs and of its customers - the tenants.
After looking at the requirements of the company, BHG felt that we offered a number of unique benefits and they commissioned us to create a bespoke system. Working closely together, we designed and built the first ebusiness management system, RSLmanager, for the social housing sector. Both organisations made significant investment to create a single business software application that manages the entire business operation covering tenancy management, HR and finance through to asset management and CRM.
We continue to work with BHG to develop the system further with enhancements to the tenants online and asset management modules as part of our ongoing commitment to community software.
