Reidmark has played a pivotal role over the past 15 years in shaping the way in which Broadland Housing Association delivers its services. As a consultant director within the Executive Leadership team, Mark Carney, MD of Reidmark, has led their digital engagement team on recognising technology as an enabler for improvement and better service delivery.

Broadland took the innovative step back in 2003 to introduce a web based tenancy and housing management system that had been developed by the Reidmark technology team. It was the first of its kind and led the social housing sector on a journey towards hosted business applications and away from on premise solutions.
This was the start of a period of technological change for Broadland that radically altered the way in which they managed their day to day operations and tenant relationships. It included a thorough review of information management and using data as a powerful tool for business insight.
The introduction of Tenants Online in 2015 provided tenants with a viable alternative to the customer call centre as a way to self service for rent payments, repairs and maintenance and reporting their concerns and complaints.
A big change in 2019 was the integration of Power BI into the main business software. This has proved to be such a valuable asset offering 'one version of the truth' for the decision making within the business. Data analytics now forms an essential part of regular reporting and strategic decision making.
Fast forward to 2022 and Broadland are maximising technology across the entire business. They have continually invested in the original Reidmark application and now have their own bespoke version that supports every operational activity from helping tenants, repairs and maintenance scheduling, people management, and core financial transactions.
In 2022 the launch of a new finance functionality that is with the main business application and seamlessly integrates with the Sage 200 for statutory accounting services marks another big step on the journey to reduce paper, spreadsheets and administration within core business services.
Mark and the team at Reidmark are a key part of our technology solution. For many years they have challenged us to think different and look for better ways to deliver our tenant services. The past two years and the challenges of the pandemic proved just how valuable the platform that Reidmark have instigated proved to be. We were instantly able to switch to home working without any issues or disruption to our business operations. I am very excited about the new chapter in our financial systems and the opportunity it brings to us to once again think differently.
